- AMC visits on demand and breakdown support on call, through 24×7 customer care
- Man-less automation retrofits onto weighbridges of any make and model
Request a service visit
Tell us the weighbridge capacity, make and what the indicator is showing. Many faults are narrowed down on the phone before an engineer travels.
Signs your weighbridge needs an engineer
Weighing faults rarely appear overnight. If any of these describe your installation, the cause is usually a load cell, a moisture-affected junction box, a shifted platform or a calibration that has drifted — all of which are diagnosable on a single visit.
- The same loaded vehicle shows a different weight on a repeat weighing
- The display does not return to zero when the platform is clear
- The reading drifts or will not settle while the vehicle is stationary
- Weights disagree with the consignment challan or with another weighbridge
- The indicator shows an error code, blank segments, or resets on its own
- Water stands in the pit, or the cabling and junction box show corrosion
- Visible damage — a bent deck plate, a dislodged load-cell mount, a broken ramp
- Transporters have started disputing your weights
- Verification and stamping is due, or has already expired
Weighing on a drifted system costs money in both directions — under-recorded dispatches and over-recorded receipts. Send us the symptom and we will tell you what it usually points to.
What we do
Every service below is carried out by our own engineers, using load cells, indicators, junction boxes and displays from our own manufacturing range.
New weighbridge installation
Turnkey installation of pit type, pitless and mobile weighbridges from 5 MT to 200 MT.
- Site assessment against your vehicles, capacity and yard layout
- Foundation specified by our factory specialists for the site's soil condition
- Platform erection, load-cell mounting and alignment
- Indicator wiring, junction box termination and earthing
- Calibration and testing before handover, plus operator training
- Support for the Legal Metrology verification needed before trade use
Civil execution is carried out at the customer's end against our foundation specification.
Inspection and calibration
Calibration checks that restore confidence in the reading — and the documentation your Legal Metrology verification depends on.
- Zero, span and linearity checks across the weighing range
- Corner and eccentric load tests on each load-cell position
- Load-cell output and junction-box balance verification
- Indicator calibration and parameter check
- Written record of readings before and after adjustment
Calibration is an accuracy check performed by us. Statutory verification and stamping is carried out by the Legal Metrology department — we prepare the weighbridge and paperwork for it.
AMC and preventive maintenance
Preventive and periodical maintenance under annual maintenance contract, by competent service engineers.
- Inspection of load cells, mounts, junction box and cabling
- Platform, deck-plate and side-clearance checks
- Pit drainage and moisture check on pit type installations
- Calibration verified at each visit
- Indicator, printer and display health check
- General maintenance work included in the contract
- Service report after every visit
Visits are made on demand rather than on a fixed calendar, and support is on call — you raise it, we attend. Commercial terms are finalised per client and project.
Breakdown repair support
When the weighbridge stops weighing, the priority is finding the fault fast and getting the gate moving again.
- Fault diagnosis over the phone, then on site
- Load cell isolation to identify the failed position
- Junction box, cabling and surge-damage repair
- Indicator fault diagnosis and replacement where needed
- Recalibration once the fault is cleared
Our service and maintenance team is reachable 24×7 through the customer care number.
Load cell replacement
Replacing a failed or water-damaged load cell, or upgrading a full set to digital cells.
- Identify the failed cell by output comparison rather than by guesswork
- Replace with IP-68 / IP-69K sealed cells of the correct type and rating
- Option to upgrade the full set to digital load cells with in-built surge arrester
- Re-level and re-align the platform on the new mounting
- Recalibrate and re-test the complete system afterwards
Digital load cells can remove the junction box entirely, which cuts the wiring points that cause most moisture faults.
Indicator, junction box and display work
Repair or replacement of the weighing electronics around the platform.
- Weighing indicator repair, replacement and recalibration
- Junction box replacement, connecting up to 12 load cells
- Remote jumbo display supply and repair — 6-digit, IP65, 2" to 8" digits
- Printer, RS-232 and PC connectivity faults
- Lithium-ion battery backup for power-restricted sites
Mechanical to electronic conversion
Keep the platform and civil work you already paid for; replace the weighing mechanism with load cells and a digital indicator.
- Assessment of the existing platform and civil structure
- Load cells and mounting fitted to the existing deck
- Digital indicator with printer and record storage
- Weighment software where records need to become digital
- Calibration and handover as a new electronic system
Suited to older mills and plants where the structure is still sound but records, accuracy control or reporting have become the problem.
Mechanical to electronic conversion in detailModernization and software upgrades
Bringing an existing electronic weighbridge up to current record-keeping and automation standards.
- Weighment software for industrial and public weighbridges
- Automatic SMS and e-mail on each weighment
- SAP connectivity, ERP attachment and file export
- Multiple-weighbridge connectivity over LAN
- RFID man-less automation, retrofittable to weighbridges of any make and model
- ANPR cameras, CCTV, boom barriers, traffic lights and vehicle position sensors

Calibration, verification and stamping
These two are constantly confused, and the difference matters when a transporter disputes a weight. Calibration is the technical adjustment that makes the reading correct. Verification and stamping is the statutory act, performed by the Legal Metrology department, that makes the weighbridge legal to trade on.
What we do
- Test the weighbridge against known weights across its range
- Correct zero, span and linearity, and check every load-cell corner
- Record the readings before and after adjustment
- Prepare the system and documentation for the department's verification
What remains with you
- Applying to the local Legal Metrology department
- Keeping the stamping current — an expired verification stops legal trade use
How a service call runs
-
Tell us the symptom
Call the customer care number or send the service request form with the weighbridge capacity, make, location and what you are seeing on the indicator.
-
Phone diagnosis
Many faults — a shifted zero, a single failed load cell, a printer or cabling issue — are narrowed down before an engineer travels, which saves a visit.
-
Site inspection
An engineer inspects the platform, load cells, junction box, cabling and indicator, then tests the system to isolate the cause rather than replacing parts speculatively.
-
Scope and quotation
You get the findings, the parts needed and the cost before work starts. Where the weighbridge is under warranty or AMC, the covered items are identified up front.
-
Repair and recalibration
Parts are replaced, the platform is re-levelled where required, and the system is recalibrated and tested across the range before the weighbridge goes back into use.
-
Report and next due date
You receive a service report with the readings recorded, along with the preventive maintenance and re-verification dates to plan for.

Response and scheduling
Maintenance visits under AMC are made on demand rather than on a fixed calendar, and breakdown support is on call — you raise the request through the 24×7 customer care number and an engineer attends. General maintenance work is included in the contract; parts outside its scope are quoted before any work starts.
Service questions
What does a weighbridge AMC cover?
An annual maintenance contract covers preventive and periodical maintenance by our service engineers — inspection of the load cells, mounts, junction box, cabling and platform, a calibration check at each visit, general maintenance work, and a service report. Visits are made on demand rather than on a fixed calendar, and support is on call: you raise the request and an engineer attends. Commercial terms are finalised per client and project scope.
What is the difference between calibration and stamping?
Calibration is a technical accuracy check: we test the weighbridge against known weights and adjust it so the reading is correct. Stamping, or verification, is a statutory act carried out by the Legal Metrology department, which certifies the weighbridge for use in trade. A weighbridge can be freshly calibrated and still not be legal to trade on if its verification has lapsed.
How often does a weighbridge need attention?
Under an AMC, visits are made on demand — when you raise a request — and the calibration is checked at each visit. Separately, a weighbridge used for commercial transactions must be re-verified and stamped periodically under Legal Metrology rules; your local department confirms the due date for your installation.
Can you convert our old mechanical weighbridge to electronic?
Yes. Where the existing platform and civil structure are still sound, we fit load cells and a digital indicator to the existing deck and add weighment software where records need to become digital, so the civil investment is retained.
Can automation be added to a weighbridge that is not a Vepro system?
Yes. The RFID-based man-less automation solution is designed to convert an operator-based weighbridge — irrespective of make and model — into an unmanned terminal with vehicle positioning, stable-weight checks and real-time alerts.
How do we reach you when the weighbridge is down?
The service and maintenance team is reachable 24×7 through our customer care number. Phone diagnosis usually narrows the fault before an engineer is dispatched.
What warranty applies to the work?
Warranty and AMC terms are finalised per project scope; a minimum one-year warranty is usually provided on supplied systems.
Weighbridge down, or due for calibration?
Send us the capacity, the make and what the indicator is showing. Our engineers come back with the likely cause, what a visit involves and what it will cost.
